Software firm Prestwood, which provides the Truth cashflow modelling system used by many planners, says its office will continue to be staffed so that users can call its helpdesk.
However, while the risk of Coronavirus is significant the firm has cancelled all face-to-face training and user groups for the time being to minimise risk to customers and staff.
Prestwood’s managing director Ritchie Walton says the firm has made plans to ensure staff can work form home in the event of quarantining so that there is ‘zero interruption’ for Truth users.
The company is confident it will be able to cope if the Government orders a complete lockdown.
Mr Walton said: “I wanted to reassure our customers that despite all the alarm surrounding Covid-19, access to the helpdesk and the software systems will not be affected.
“We have invested in technology so that if we are required to remain in quarantine, staff can keep giving excellent service, from home, with no loss of service.”
He said at present the company is following all precautions and advice the Government has issued.
To replace face to face training and user groups the company has developed free webinars for Level 1 and Level 2 training courses.
To replace postponed User Groups the company has added free topical webinars and training videos.
