We are thrilled to announce that entries for the Xero Awards are now open for our UK, Ireland and South Africa accounting, bookkeeping and app partners.
The last year has again amplified the important role that our partner community has played. Many of you have been the first line of support for small businesses as we all navigate our way out of the global pandemic. The impact your support has on our local communities is immeasurable.
There’s no doubt you’ve experienced some tough times over the past year. But we know amongst it all that there have been good times – even great times – too. We know there have been successes. And we want to hear those success stories and celebrate them with you.
The Xero Awards are our chance to celebrate you and share your stories. That’s why we encourage you to put your practice forward, because we think you’re worth making a song and dance about! If you are an app provider, it’s a great opportunity to share how you’ve impacted the community with your app too.
Our Xero partner and app community is incredibly important to us. We are passionate about supporting you, because it’s key to our purpose – to make life better for small businesses, their advisors and communities around the world.
The Xero Awards are like no other. We’ll highlight the ups, acknowledge the downs, and celebrate you.
What are the Xero Award categories?
We have 17 major award categories across our UK, South African and Irish accounting, bookkeeping and app partners – celebrating sole practitioners to large firms, app partners and more.
Returning this year for our UK partners will also be our human award categories – Xero MVP, Community Impact and People’s Choice Award.
The Xero MVP award isn’t open for entries; our teams internally will nominate individuals that are Xero advocates through and through, and a winner will be selected by our judging panel. The People’s Choice Award is your opportunity to encourage clients, friends and family to nominate you for the great work you do.
And the Community Impact award will celebrate an individual or firm that has gone above and beyond outside of the community, making a difference to an individual or group. Last year that award went to Kung Fu Accounting who among other incredible achievements supported their community by creating a fund to support local social enterprises through Covid, launching an ethical payslip service, and donating 113 Madlug bags to children in care.
Here’s what some of our previous winners had to say…
“Winning the award is confirmation of our commitment to the small business community, bringing innovation and focusing on providing a value-added service… we look forward to continuing this journey with Xero, leading the way in revolutionising the accounting industry.” – Jahan Aslam, Fusion Accountants – Winner, Midsize Firm of the Year, Xero Awards 2021
“To win this award with Xero for 2021, especially coming off the back of the year we’ve all had, is a massive achievement so we’re delighted with that. We look forward to many years ahead working with Xero, the add-on partners and the ecosystem to continually serve our clients.” – Kieran Phelan, Cloud 360 – Winner, Small Firm of the Year, Xero Awards 2021
