We’re incredibly excited to share that Baker Tilly Canada has achieved Xero’s Platinum Partner status, which demonstrates the audit, tax and advisory network is helping to lead the way with the future of cloud accounting in Canada. After this new partnership milestone was signed, we were thrilled to attend Baker Tilly Canada’s annual partners conference in Vancouver, where we shared the news and celebrated with attendees.
Xero’s Platinum Partner status gives the Baker Tilly Canada network access to more resources, which benefits member firms and their clients across the country. The network recently started using Xero and has seen rapid traction across its SME client base, particularly in energy, medical professionals and agriculture portfolios.
“What we like most about partnering with Xero is the ability to leverage the flexibility of the platform to work more collaboratively with clients,” says Trevor Reid, CPA, CA, TEP and chair of Baker Tilly Advantage, the network’s cloud accounting program. “The robust reporting tools within this platform allow us to build on our powerful combination of cloud technology, financial expertise and industry insight to give clients an added advantage. Together we are looking forward to uncovering new opportunities for our network and our clients to leverage Xero, which will contribute to our continued growth and success.”
With member firms from coast to coast, the Baker Tilly Canada Cooperative is one of the country’s largest associations of chartered professional accounting firms. This all-Canadian network has a longstanding reputation for value-added audit, tax and advisory solutions, due to the depth and breadth of its in-house skills, customized offerings and service excellence.
Through strong network infrastructure, shared expertise, resources and offices across the country, Baker Tilly Canada’s independent member firms provide clients ranging in size from large, publicly traded companies to owner-managed and emerging businesses with a full complement of professional services across every major industry sector.
Improving client engagements through automation
