Omnis Investments’ chief investment officer Robert Jeffree has been appointed chief executive of Openwork’s £10bn specialist asset management company.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
He will be responsible for the leadership of Omnis, and will report to Richard Houghton, chief executive of The Openwork Partnership.

Mr Jeffree has more than 25 years of asset management experience. He joined Omnis in 2020 and has also held roles as CIO at C Hoare & Co and Banque Transatlantique.
Mr Jeffree will retain his CIO responsibilities in the short term alongside his new role.
He began his career as an investment analyst at HSBC Asset Management in 1995 before training as a fund manager on the European equities desk.
He then joined McKinsey as an investment management consultant and in 2004 moved to New Star Asset Management as a fund manager covering Multi-Asset and Asia portfolios.

Omnis manages more than £10bn in assets, exclusively on behalf of The Openwork Partnership, a network of 4,600 financial advisers across the country, and 2plan wealth management.
