GWM Financial Planning has changed its name to Skybound Wealth Management following its acquisition by Skybound Capital in April.
GWM, which has offices in London and Sheffield, has provided advice to UK-based clients and international workers repatriating assets back to the UK since 1994.
Skybound Wealth Management CEO Lyon Botha said: “After completing the successful rebrand of our international arm back in January, we are delighted to have now obtained control of the UK entity and be able to welcome them into the broader Skybound group.”
CEO Lyon Botha said the firm expected increased demand for repatriation advice from international workers following the Covid-19 pandemic
Managing director Fiona Neill said: “As someone who has lived overseas before returning to the UK in 2018, I have experienced for myself the complexities of repatriating assets back home.”
In addition to an expat advice, Skybound also provide advice on UK products such as ISAs, income protection and pension planning.
Skybound Wealth Management is part of a global network of IFA firms.
Skybound Capital is a global wealth management business, licensed and regulated in London, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Australia and South Africa. It provides investment products for family offices, private clients, advisers and institutions.
