Cashflow modelling tool provider Truth is adding extra functionality from today allowing Financial Planners to white label their own free cashflow onboarding site for consumers.
Truth says the new facility will provide a “taster” of what Financial Planning can do for consumers.
Truth software has been the preserve of Financial Planners but last month Truth launched a free cashflow website for consumers called Truth About Money with the aim of bridging the advice gap and improving financial literacy.
The company says hundreds of consumers have signed up to try Truth About Money.
The additional functionality means consumers can try the same cashflow ‘calculation engine’ as planners to introduce them to the benefits of cashflow modelling.
The aim is to give more members of the public the opportunity to try cashflow modelling before going on to use a Financial Planner. The website also acts as a prospecting tool for Financial Planners to find potential clients interested in Financial Planning and cashflow modelling.
Truth says Financial Planners can use their own branding for their cashflow portal. Consumers log in, create an account, and use the free cashflow tool to get an interactive snapshot of how their financial futures might look. They can then adjust settings to see the impact of saving more, spending less, or retiring later.
Truth says when consumers are ready for advice, they can choose to share their data with the planner. Their lead information is transferred to Truth and the planner also receives an email notification. If accepted, their fact find is automatically populated in Truth.
Ritchie Walton, MD of Truth Software, said the new functionality should help more potential clients understand their money better, introduce clients to “real Financial planning” and streamline onboarding.
Truth is provided by Prestwood which has been making Financial Planning tools since 1984.
